I took Ben out to the sheep yesterday, in the hope he would chase them a little. He did - just not very much. We walked around in the ring for 45 minutes, but Ben was more interested in sheep poop. Better luck next time.
Brenda is the only Suffolk-cross in the pie, so she is instantly recognisable.
She is one of the most unfit sheep I have ever seen (and I’ve seen a lot of sheep), and she gets tired within fifteen minutes - so imagine her after an hour. It looks something like this:
Meanwhile, the Fight for Santa continues…
Ben just needs a little more time with the sheep. Louie started out really slow but we thought it was because he was deaf.. Now he loves chasing the sheep only he likes to scatter them.. But hey he is having fun.. Callie on the other hand for being deaf really has a lot of natural instincts. She keeps all the sheep together we just need to slow her down..
ReplyDeleteHappy herding..

That video was precious!
ReplyDeleteI tried my paw at herding too. I loved the chasing part, just not the working part :)
