A local band were practising for the Twelfth a few miles away while I was taking these. I could hear it very well - that's how loud those bands can get! It had been a hot day, so it was nice to go out and relax in the field once the coolness of evening set in. Ivy spotted me first.

Blossom and her wee lamb live in this field. Blossom is very fussy and her lamb is increasingly independent - it leads to Blossom having to yell a lot!

And there was her lamb, not at all bothered.

Reunited.
Sooty.

Mother and son, very much alike.

Daisy.

Discount, the Sufftex and Dale, who's hiding.

While I was lying on the ground and taking some photos, Ivy came over and stood in between my legs, demanding attention. It was hard to work around her.

Blossom and baby.

On the run.

On the walk.
