I was walking the dogs on Halloween - the weather was lovely with a dramatic sky.
The herd of young cows next door came over to the wall to look at us. The low sun was shining on them. Once I'd finished our walk, I drove up again with the camera to capture the cows in the light. Unfortunately, at almost exactly the moment I pulled up alongside them and held the camera up, the clouds blocked the sun and stayed that way.
I made do but still, in my head these pictures were a bit more dynamic.
(Fly is looking guilty because she rolled in some poo as we walked - she did a thorough job and stank to high heaven!)

I love how curious cows are. It's very sweet.
I wished them a happy Halloween and drove back to the yard. Someone (Fly) was in desperate need of a bath.
