It was a very cold day, but I had the time and it was dry - perfect lamb walkies weather! It was Billy's first time being in town since he was five weeks old. Looking back on those photos, he's so tiny! Big Billy and I didn't have a particular plan, just wanted a dander. He got stuck into some grass next to a sculpture of a jellyfish.

The sun disappeared behind the mountains and took whatever warmth it could offer with it.
On the way down to the beach, Billy sampled some leaves, a tasty mix of fallen tree leaves and washed up seaweed.

Taking in the view.

Nibbling on the view.

The beach is so different in winter.

Having a scratch at the town centre.
The members of staff on duty at the tourist desk invited us inside.
Billy liked the Christmas tree.

Back on the street.
Billy liked this window with its lights.

Down an alley, making our way back to the promenade.

Crossing the bridge.

Another mural, this one of sweets.

On Main Street again.

It was hot chocolate weather.
Billy was very patient while I drink it.
It may be closed at the moment, but the art is fun.

We wandered back onto the promenade.

And finally, back down to the beach.

Bleak, but beautiful.
