The Grass Isn’t Always Greener

Spot the sheep!

Life for a sheep next door can be boring. There’s not much grass because of the bad weather, but there are lots of sheep to talk to and munch with. Maybe that’s why a ewe and two lambs came to visit us - maybe the grass is always greener on the other side…

Nope. This ewe and two lambs made a bit of a blunder.

You see, the grass isn’t greener on the other side of the wall because we are still in the same country, and that same country has the same weather, so the same grass. See?

Ben likes sheep (sorry I didn’t get that great news to you sooner), so he wanted to give them a chase. Ewes with lambs can be dangerous with their heads - and horns - so I had to call Ben back each time.

But it gets worse.

One of the lambs isn’t even hers, a lighter, bigger lamb that she keeps hitting out of the way like sheep usually do. The meanies.

The farmer next door is coming to collect her today, and maybe she’s learned her lesson - the grass isn’t always greener on the other side.
