Pip Gets Back in the Game!

I’m beautiful. I’m beautiful, it’s true!
Pip

Do you like Pip’s collar? I do – and I have a matching lead as well, they look so cute!

Anyways, Pip is becoming even more popular than ever because she was featured in a blog post by our good pal Mr. Pip – here it is. Please go and say hello!

Guess what wandered up the lane last Tuesday – a stray dog! I called this little guy Archie, because he had no tags or identification.

I went outside and caught him, and put him into a pen next to Pip. He didn’t mind being lifted and he wasn’t really afraid of me. I wasn’t sure what to do with him. My first thought was “Where had he come from?” but then I decided to try and find him a new home myself. I got him a collar and took him for a walk. To my surprise, he was lead trained and walk gently on the lead. I offered him a treat, and he took that gentley too. He was obviously very well trained.

I offered him some food and some water and he loved it. I was growing ever more concerend for the reason he’d came into the yard. My dad made an important point when he said that maybe his family couldn’t afford the vet’s bills and he was dumped because he was sick. Well, he was very thin and shivery.

The next morning, after a lot of debate, we called the dog warden and he was taken away at lunch time. I hope he finds a home.

You’ve still got me!
Pip

Yes I do, the very shy puppy.
