Karen's Challenge

On Monday, Karen set me a challenge:
I like the through the ear perspective. Here's a little challenge for you:) Take one with the landscape in focus and the ears out of focus, and see which one you like best:)
I was more than happy to accept - and here's the result:


It's just a shame that the weather wasn't as good (we haven't had as good a day since). I still prefer the first one because of the brighter colours.


The photo above was just a good luck shot. I wasn't planning on getting it, but Pip just looked at the right place at the right time.

Her ears can go in all directions.

    Both pics are really good, but we agree with you an dlike the first better.

    Thunder can do weird things with his ears too. He can turn one sideways and keep the other one straight - it is so funny to see.

    Came over from the Blog Hop...You have VERY talented ears! BOTH photos are very good. We like the geometry of the second however! The challenge itself is a cool idea, I am going to ask dad to experiment a bit.

    Hey Ruth, good for you for giving it a go!
    I'm thinking maybe if Pip was a bit farther away so her ears wouldn't be quite as much out of focus, with the scenery still in focus, but then Pip would have to cooperate, and that's easier said than done with dogs:)
    Just keep playing around with your camera, and maybe one day the weather and Pip will cooperate on the same day:)

    Wowserz! Pips ears look a lot like me in that last photo, except I have a bit more crazy fur. ;)
