On the Move Again

One thing I didn't realise when getting Blue Belle was how much moving around she'd have to do - not to find the best grass, but the worst. To prevent laminitis I have to make sure she doesn't gorge herself on fresh grass. This time I was able to test out a new headcollar and lead I made. It's made from navy waterproof BioThane and has rose gold hardware. It's hard to see under all of the winter fluff but I think it's really pretty.

She was being moved to join the tips and male lambs from last year as their field had the least grass. She was happy to have her freedom back after a few weeks in the yard.

A beautiful end to February.
