He is a handsome boy :) I know you rescued him so the teeth were probably not good then, but just wanted to say that raw chicken wings are great for cleaning and keeping dogs teeth healthy.( raw chicken bones are fine, it is just the cooked ones that splinter and cause problems) My dogs had really great teeth for oldies, the vet could not believe it.
