At this time of year, especially when the weather is warm, it's a good idea to check on the ewes multiple times a day. Their thick wool causes the ewes to sweat and their backs itch, encouraging them to roll. Once a ewe gets onto her back, she's stuck, and could die unless she's rolled onto her feet again. I took my camera with me for this evening check - thankfully, all the ewes were the right way up!

Margie's ewe lamb. She has very interesting facial markings - it leads me to believe she absorbed a sibling in the womb.
