Winter is so often grey, wet and cold, so to have a day that's a bit warmer with blazing sunshine is a special treat. I was out feeding the lambs with the dogs and brought the camera. I had the idea of filling the feeder and sitting on the ground beside it to see what I could get. I didn't intend for everything to be so backlit, but I think it worked out well.
The ewe lambs were looking for their food.

Our lingering caused some confusion.

The sheep aren't too scared of Poppy - she couldn't be scary even if she tried!

Although, some of the lambs were more cautious.

A stand-off.

I moved to the other feeder and filled that.
The dogs were helping.
I call the grey-faced one with the dark spot above her nose "Koala".

I thought this would be a good chance for a family photo.

I was very happy with these photos. Taking advantage of good weather is always so satisfying.
Those black and white photos are my favorite.
