The ewes and tips are still at Bannon's Land where they spend their winter. Now that Christmas is over, we're in the wettest, most miserable bit of winter - it's raining half the time, cold and muddy. Soon these sheep will be coming home and before we blink, lambing will be upon us! In the meantime, I took half an hour out of a slightly less hectic day to sit at the feeder with my camera and see who turned up.

Lily is very aware of my pocket of sheep treats.

Tasty silage.

Nora.

Gertie spotted me and made a bee-line for that pocket.
Daisy.

Flossie.

I left them to it.
Susan was waiting patiently for me in the tractor.

She and Poppy have been taking turns riding in the tractor with me all winter. They're having a great time and are enjoying the occasional slice of bacon or puppuccino treat when I make a breakfast stop...
