Breakfast Below Zero

December saw a cold snap that lasted for well over a week. Frost and light snow never melted. Water troughs were frozen near solid. It was as cold as I could remember it being, sticking on average around -2°C during the day, but feeling much colder than that with the wind chill. Setting out every morning was tough but the animals must be fed and the show must go on.

On the first morning of this cold snap I was excited - frost and snow had been rare up until this point in 2022. Dad fed the tip lambs while Fly "helped".

The moment anyone steps away the boys are in! They get very excited about breakfast.

Hugs for helping.
